Sermon
2014
Performance with 40 metre dress, an original composed hymn (printed on A4 paper) and piano accompaniment, 30 minutes
First performed at B talking, Reading Room Wellingore, Lincolnshire, and produced whilst partaking on Arts Council England supported mentoring scheme 'B mentored' delivered by John Plowman of Beacon Arts Project, Lincolnshire. An alternate version was later performed for Lunchtime Lectures at The Drill Hall, Lincoln.
Sermon explores the myths surrounding the Knights Templar and fabled grid systems linking five Churches and the seal of Solomon in the Lincolnshire landscapes. Guests were invited to sing a hymn constructed by GÂST, illuminating fictitious and historic narratives discovered whilst exploring these avenues.
